Welcome to Salem New Hampshire Youth Baseball

To all of the Salem Youth Baseball Community, 

We will be holding elections for our next term of the Board of Directors on Tuesday, October 21st at 7:30PM in the Salem High School Cafeteria.  

If you would like to be considered for any board position or nominate someone for a board position, please complete the “SYB BOD: Nomination Form” no later than October 14th.  

We will communicate all candidates that are up for election by October 17th, in advance of the October 21st election.

2025 - 2026 Election Committee consists of the League President, League Secretary and League Information Officer

All Board Members: The Salem Youth Baseball Board of Directors, elected from and by the adult members of the league, is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the league within the rules, regulations and policies of Little League. Dedication to the goals and purpose of Little League is inherent in the volunteer aspect of those who serve. Each position is a one year term and there are no “legacy” positions.

Impact and Community Involvement: You can directly influence the league's direction and create a positive environment for hundreds of local children by volunteering your time and expertise. 

Skill Utilization: Leagues need more than just coaches; they require skilled individuals in diverse areas such as finance, project management, marketing, and IT to manage the business aspects of the organization. 

Gain Experience: Serving on the board offers a valuable opportunity to gain leadership and administrative experience within a non-profit structure. 

Shape the Experience: Board members play a crucial role in decisions regarding uniforms, fundraising, sponsorships, and overall strategic initiatives, ensuring the league's mission is furthered. 

Support the Program: You become part of a dedicated group of volunteers working to strengthen the league and provide a fun, healthy, and enjoyable experience for children.
