Welcome to Salem New Hampshire Youth Baseball

Hello District Tournament Families!

We know our coaches are looking forward to getting our teams together and prepped for a successful run this summer, but first we have to get the registration paperwork out of the way.

Nothing can be submitted electronically. IN PERSON PAPER ONLY! All are attached and linked or we have paper copies of every form. If you need them in hand, just ask.

REGISTRATION

Step one for all of you- please log into www.SalemYouthBaseball.net (the same way your registered for the Spring season) and complete registration for the "2025 SYB Summer Teams". The fee is $150 and that includes $100 to assist with uniforms, tournament fees, umpires, and balls and $50 for the Calendar Raffle. Additional information is attached and included in the “Information for 2025 SYB DISTRICT Teams” tab on our website.

In your cart at registration, when you get to the "Residency Eligibility Address" section, do not waste your time uploading the 3 Proofs of Residency (skip it because we need these in hand, NOT electronically). Enter your school in the “School Attendance Eligibility”. Again, do not upload anything in this section- just press Continue.

Manager & coaches: Please register once again in the system so we can attach you to your team for communication and scheduling.

 

DOCUMENTATION

We need FOUR pieces of paper from you:

  1. ORIGINAL birth certificate (This will be returned to you before the start of play. Copies will be rejected.)
    1. As there is new leadership at the District level, it is being requested that all players, new or returning, provide their ORIGINAL birth certificate. Once the District sees them and makes copies, they will be returned to the families.
  2. Medical Release Form: https://www.littleleague.org/downloads/medical-release-form/
  3. Tournament Player Verification Form: https://www.littleleague.org/downloads/tournament-player-verification/
  4. School Verification Form (Signed by the principal and only for players that attend a school within our boundaries). https://www.littleleague.org/downloads/school-enrollment-form/
    1. If your player goes to school in our boundaries (this includes Salem, Pelham, Windham, Methuen and Haverhill), we cannot stress how much easier it is to complete the School Verification Form. Send the form into your child's principal today- they see them every year and get it back to you asap.
    2. If your player does not attend a school within our boundaries, you will need to submit residency proof (section 2 of the Tournament Player Verification form). Submit the physical documentation (dated December 2024) from all 3 groups. Do NOT submit anything dated this year. If you did this last year for 10, 11 or 12 District Teams, we do not need it again. All these forms can be handed directly to our players agent, Nick Hanes ONLY, please do not submit to coaches or other board members unless specifically discussed.

We will let you know if something is missing / incorrect.

These forms are due by Tuesday, June 3rd.

 Drop-off Event: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Michele Park on June 3rd and following the conclusion of the Majors game that evening between Team Sawyer and Team Palmer (this is a double header, so estimated around 8:30 PM – 9:00 PM.

Additional Information on Calendars:

This year we are NOT collecting raffle tickets and instead you will enter your own ticket sales using the QR code on the raffle page. If you sell all 5 tickets then please enter the information for the person that you sold the tickets to. If you are putting your name on all of the tickets please enter your information.

Lisa Ward will be sending reminder emails out during the summer AND you will all receive 1 copy of the calendar. Deadline for tickets is 7/30.
